Reviving a rather conservative art form takes guts. Fortunately, Opera Philadelphia has it in spades. And so I mustered all of mine while serving as its lead writer for seasonal materials and fundraising efforts since 2017. Perhaps the closest this voice will ever get to an actual stage.
